As the game's site said, "Once upon a time, there was a World of Darkness"... which became a substantially original theme after vampires stole the Sun. The world spent generations in the Long Night, a Resistance fighting against the leeches, until finally the Sun was restored. Its heat on it return was immense, melting the ice caps and turning much of the world to desert. In this new world, the supernatural beings were no longer hidden — the ones that remained. Some types were gone entirely, and the remaining groups had reorganized. However, with the return of the Sun, there was also the return of breeds of shifters long lost...
One of the groups which had disappeared was the Nuwisha, or werecoyotes. Unlike the Mokole, they didn't perish... they just disappeared around the time dawn came. I played a Nuwisha kin whose ultimate aim was to find out where they went, and bring them back if possible, although he found time to do a lot of other things along the way.
