It is Halloween night and it seems that all the children are out and about Saint Claire, getting spooked by their neighbors and loading up on free candy. Andrea heads into the library having finally escaped Benedict's torture chamber of grounding. He had to go to work at some point. As she trudges in with a pillow case full of candy, she flops down on Justin's beanbag chair and starts to root through it. She is dressed today as a 'sexy angel', wearing a pair of light blue spandex workout shorts that cut just below her butt cheeks, a matching sports bra and a pair of feathery angel wings on her back. She also has knee high leather boots and some blue make up on her face in the form of a diamond over one eye.
One wouldn't expect a Lupus of the Pure Ones to be celebrating Halloween. In truth, Watcher probably isn't, but somewhere in the course of the evening he seems to have got ahold of someone's candy bag. Gaia only knows how. But the coywolf comes meandering down the stairs with a loaded pumpkin pail hanging from his jaws. He's even dressed up, with black spots painted across the fronts of his shoulders and one on his back. He's sporting a teal collar with a diamond shaped tag with SD in gold.
Andrea_J unwraps a sucker and puts it in her mouth, working it with a few sucks before she glances over at Scooby Doo heading down the stairs. It takes a few moments to recognize who it is and she grins. "Hey Three Mountains, come here." She calls over in a drawly tone.
It's pretty good timing all around, since it's only a few moments after Watcher gets downstairs that Felix comes in through the front doors, dressed as Alex from A Clockwork Orange. He also probably hasn't been trick or treating, exactly; the main clue would be that he's also got a pumpkin pail. Actually, two. Plus two fancy bags and a pillowcase. He looks pretty damn cheerful, although there's probably a handful of kids out there who're less so, and is brightly singing, "--what a wonderful feelin', I'm--" He breaks off, blinking as he recognizes the other occupants of the room. "Hey! Where you been? An' hi, Watcher, nice costume."
The sidelong glance Three-Mountains passes between the pail in his mouth and the motherlode Felix carts is tinged with jealousy. Still he finds himself a comfortable spot to flop himself down and hoard his ill-gotten booty between his paws. It's then he looks to Andrea with his ears tipping back and a most suspicious look being given to the kinswoman. How does she know who he is? His nostrils flare and he sniffs in her direction.
"C'mere boy, lemmie give you a Scooby snack." Andrea says with a wry grin towards the Uktena as she rolls the sucker about her mouth, followed by a 'pop' as she slips it out, leaving a red candy stain along her tongue. When Felix heads in, she glances over and shrugs her shoulders. "Been around, here and there." She gets more comfortable in the bean bag chair, then roots about in her sack again. "You looking to do ultra violence tonight or something?"
Felix flashes Andrea one of his more dangerous-looking grins, shrugging back. "Maybe. Ain't decided yet." He comes over and flops down on the couch, opening the pillowcase to glance inside, then just dumping it out on the cushion beside him, and one of the fancy bags next. Nice contents; there's even a couple full size bars in there. Been hunting somewhere nice, apparently. "Here an' there, huh? Decent place to be, I guess. Shame 'bout the reception, though." A glance to Andrea, looking her over more thoroughly now that they're closer. "Costume ain't bad either. Some kinda angel?"
Three-Mountains gives a noisy snort at the offer of snacks. He has a whole bucket. He thumps a paw onto the pumpkin and tips it over to begin nosing through the contents. Oo! Popcorn ball. He gets the whole thing in his jaws and noisily crunches right down on it, punching holes through the plastic with his teeth. It's short work to further worry the wrapping free so he can happily lick up the shattered popcorn ball. While Andrea might miss the commentary, Felix might pick up the 'humans make strange looking birds' remarks.
Andrea_J gives a roll of her eyes over towards the lupus as she goes back to sucking on piece of candy. "Fallen angel." With a loud crunch into the candy, she gives a loud chomp-chomp before she swallows most of it back. "She just doesn't know it yet." She looks over to the Uktena again, patting her hip. Here boy!
"Best kind," Felix replies, and that commentary from the Lupus gets a small snort of a laugh, and a couple of mini Reeses sent his way. The other bags get dumped as well, and he looks through the haul, arranging like with like somewhat absently. "How come she don't know? Thought that fallin' thing was supposed to be pretty obvious. Didn't pay all that much attention to the parts of church where we weren't singin', admittedly."
Leave it to the relatively full moon to make Three-Mountains hunker defensively over his candy and continue to give the winged Andrea an eye with no small degree of suspicion. Once more his nostrils flare even as he noses back through the goods.
"Dude, I got my own candy. I don't want yours." Andrea shoots over to the lupus with an annoyed glare, then rolls her eyes upwards. "She's in denial." Pushing herself up, she gives a stretch of her lean body, then pops another piece of candy into her mouth to suck on. "Whatever, this is a lame party. I'm just gonna go home before Uncle Ben finds out I'm gone."
"Ain't a party," Felix says, "I'm gonna go find some of those in about..." He considers. "...an hour, I reckon. Oughta be long enough for 'em to get properly started, have people buzzed enough they ain't askin' annoyin' questions." He starts gathering the candy up again, all into the pillowcase, though he pauses to look at Andrea again. "Dunno your Uncle Ben. He big on rice? An' the fuck's up, anyhow? You under house arrest or what?"
Something about the Gaian girl doesn't seem to rub the Lupus right, but Three-Mountains isn't angling to cause trouble. Nor does he move to stop her either. He just keeps rooting through his candy hoard and picks out a chocolate piece. His mundane relations might die, but the bonus of being Garou - chocolate binging!
"My Uncle Ben is Alicia's brother. He's a detective on the police force. He's not happy with me." Andrea slings her pillow case over her shoulder as she heads for the door. "It's not a big deal. I'm used to being a disappointment." Pushing the doors open, she heads out into the Halloween night. "Later." She calls over as she lets the door swing behind her.
Felix looks like he's got some questions about that -- although only the first parts, for some reason -- but she's running off again. "Later. Might text you if I find any really good parties," he says, and watches after her for a few moments when the door's shut. "Huh." He looks down to the Lupus, grinning a little at the chocolate-consumption, "You want any more'n that, reckon I might put mosta this in the kitchen."
Three-Mountains watches Andrea walk away, eyes fixed on her until she's out of sight. His fur ruffles before laying flat again and the Lupus gives a faint huff. Something definitely seems to have rubbed his fur the wrong way. Mention of candy refocuses his attention and the Uktena regards his smaller stash. He is sure the others will want some. Unless they found more.
"Might go see if there's more," Felix muses, "Any of 'em still trick or treatin' up that area deserve a more interestin' night." He glances toward the door again, then goes back to shoveling everything into the bag. "...so you thinkin' she's actin' kinda weird too? Ain't usually that bitchy. Although I guess I reckon havin' to hang out that close to a cop'd piss off anyone."
Three-Mountains does not know her. The Lupus nudges his candy into a pile next to the gaudy plastic pumpkin and lifts his head to look to Felix. He does note she smells bad to him. Sour and sharp, like garbage before a storm. He does not like it. She does not smell right. It makes him feel uncomfortable.
"Huh. Thought you'd met her," Felix says, "She useta come by with Henry, back when. Just comes by herself now, though I know you ain't here so much as the rest of us. An' she ain't come in a week or two." The door gets some more consideration. "She's been takin' this one drug a lot, but usually it makes her... happier. Maybe we oughta... I dunno, somethin'. I mean, smellin' wrong, way she's actin'..." He taps his fingers on a Hershey bar, then shrugs. "I dunno, it's weird."
<OOC> Felix should drive home.
<OOC> Felix says "My hostess just went to bed."
<OOC> Three-Mountains calls it here then! Can always pick up later or do a second scene.
